Remarks by H.E. Mr. Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, at the State Banquet

Honorable Guests,
Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to extend on behalf of my wife Bolormaa, of our children and of my own self, our sincere gratitude along with our best wishes to You for accepting our invitation to the State Banquet hosted on the occasion of the Great Festivity of the Mongol people, the Naadam.

It is indeed historically symbolic that the momentous 2222nd Anniversary of the Mongolian Statehood coincides with the ceremony of Presidential inauguration. I convey my deep gratitude to the people of Mongolia for active participation in the election, and to many organizations and individuals for their most sincere support.

The Naadam of Mongolia is the supreme festivity of my people, when we enjoy the utmost pride in our nation’s history, culture, traditions and customs. I am profoundly happy to share our pride and joy with our friends and guests from afar who travelled to Mongolia to participate in Mongol Naadam celebrations.

The success of Mongolia is not only the achievement of the millions of Mongolians, but also it is the fruit of collective efforts and hard work of many countries, organizations and people with whom the Mongolians cooperate. Taking this opportunity to reiterate my deep gratitude for accepting our invitation to the State Banquet tonight, I raise my festive cup of milk

• To the development and prosperity of Mongolia
• To the wellbeing of my people
• And to the good health of all ladies and gentlemen who are present here today.
