President Elbegdorj Received Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mongolia



President Elbegdorj received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Mongolia, Mr. Christopher Charles Stuart on occasion of the end of his term of diplomatic mission in Mongolia. Ambassador expressed his appreciation to President for welcoming.

President Elbegdorj noted: “Thank you for your contribution in developing the bilateral relations in three years term of mission in Mongolia, representing the United Kingdom. Mongolia highly value strong bilateral relations with the United Kingdom, as we remain grateful to the British Government for being the first Western country to recognize Mongolia. The diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the United Kingdom were established back in 1963 and since then our two countries have been developing this relationship.
Mongolia’s Government is interested in cooperating with the United Kingdom in mining, railway and other sectors, broadening cooperation with the London Stock Exchange. I wish you every success in your future endeavors”.
